About Me

Chelsea French LMT, CLT

Chelsea earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from University of Illinois and worked as a scientist in an environmental laboratory. She attended professional massage therapy training to be licensed in 2002. Upon graduation, she combined her passions of science and massage by teaching anatomy to massage therapy students as well as practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Florida. Her teaching experience expanded beyond instructing many of the core classes at three massage schools to positions including Assistant Program Director and Executive Director. She moved to Portland, Oregon in 2010 to co-found New Leaf Physical & Massage Therapy, creating a team of specialized oncology therapists and becoming a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Chelsea sold her practice as a leading cancer rehabilitation clinic and lymphedema management center servicing the greater northwest region of the United States. Now back in Tallahassee, she brings excellence in care to this community.
